The last strawyou'll ever buy.
A stainless-steel straw kit in a bamboo travel case. Ten euro, shipped anywhere on Earth.
Sustainable. Simple. Better.
Sustainable.
A plastic straw is useful for about twenty minutes.
Then it spends the next two hundred years being litter. Every one ever made is still out there, somewhere.
The world gets through millions of them. Every day.
Not because anyone loves plastic — because the alternative was never this easy to own.
Steel changes the maths.
One ten-euro kit, used daily, retires thousands of plastic straws before it ever looks tired.

Simple.

Better.
Built to outlast the habit.Cleans like a teaspoon.
- Food-grade 304 stainless steel
- The same alloy used in professional kitchens. No metal taste, no rust, no bending in a hot cup. Dishwasher-happy.
- Silicone comfort tips
- Soft-touch tips slide on for kids, hot coffee, or anyone who doesn't love steel on their teeth.
- A case you'll actually carry
- The bamboo tube is the difference between owning a reusable straw and using one. Seal it, toss it in a bag, forget about it.
- Nothing to throw away
- The kit arrives in a kraft box that fits through a letterbox. Every part of the parcel composts or recycles.

Fair questions.
Do steel straws change the taste?
No. Food-grade 304 stainless steel is the same material as your cutlery — no metal taste, no rust, nothing leaching into your drink.
Are they dishwasher safe?
The straws, tips and brushes all go in the dishwasher. The bamboo case prefers a wipe with a damp cloth — it's wood, it likes the spa, not the swim.
Are they okay for kids and hot drinks?
Yes — that's what the soft silicone tips are for. They slide onto either end and stay put. As with any straw, supervise the very small humans.
How long does delivery take?
Posted from Ireland: 1–3 working days in Ireland, 3–7 across the UK and Europe, 7–14 everywhere else. Shipping is free on orders over €30.
What if I lose a tip or a brush?
It happens — message us on Instagram @down.2.earth.store and we'll post you spares for pennies rather than making you buy a whole new kit.
How do I pay?
Secure card checkout with Stripe is launching very soon. Until then, orders are taken by DM on Instagram — same kit, same tenner.

Designed in Ireland. Sent everywhere.
A small store with one big habit to break.
Down2Earth is a small Irish store with one belief: the easiest way to change a habit is to love the object that replaces it. So we made one kit, priced it at ten euro, and we'll post it to any address on Earth.
It started on Instagram, and it grows one order — and one borrowed straw at a picnic — at a time.

Make the switch.
